They travelled in disguise to other territories to judge the situation of the enemy, they would inveigle their way into the midst of the enemy to discover gaps, and enter enemy castles to set them on fire, and carried out assassinations, arriving in secret…shhh
The latest shirt of the day is by zerobriant, a very strong designer and all around great guy.
One of the great things about this print is the way that the sword is printed all the way up the collar, like it’s about to slice my jugular and have blood spurting out everywh- oh, nevermind. A little too gory?
Anyway, this is simply a great shirt.
Zerobriant has had several great prints at Design by Humans, as well as other shirt contest sites. What separates this designer from the others (including completely great designs), is his generosity. It seems whenever he wins a print at DBH, he celebrates by giving away several of his shirts.
He sent me this copy of Death by Stealth when I won a contest he had with an earlier print, Once in a Blue Moon.
Check them out, buy them, and wear them. You will not find a nicer artist to support!
Continuing on with the Christmas-themed shirts, here is Merry Hothmas!

The origin of this shirt is obvious to most, but if you’ve lived under a rock your entire life and don’t know the Star Wars reference, watch the video below.
In The Empire Strikes Back, there was a battle on the planet Hoth, in which the evil Empire had these monstrous attack vehicles called AT-AT’s (All-Terrain, Armored Transport).
The artist, Aegis, portrays the snowy, frozen scene on Hoth as Christmassy, and gives the Empirical AT-AT’s a Rudolphian appearance to take it to a whole other level. A very clever mashup of Star Wars and Christmas.

It really makes you want to rip open a Tauntaun for shelter…
You know what’s missing from the holiday season? Unimaginable horror.
So to ring in this Christmas Season, here’s a heartwarming story:
Did you know that in most cultures, Santa Clause does not travel alone? In most parts of the world, Santa comes and gives presents to good little boys and girls, but for the naughty boys and girls? Well, Santa’s counterpart Krampus comes and dispenses warnings, punishment, and sometimes just takes bad kids away in his napsack.
Traditionally, young men dress up as the Krampus in the first two weeks of December, particularly in the evening of December 5th. And as I’m posting this on December 5th, what timing!
Really gives new meaning to “He sees you when you’re sleeping, he knows when you’re awake, he knows when you’ve been bad or good, so be good for Krampus sake! …”
I’ll occasionally give ya a glimpse into my closet, highlighting a Shirt of the Day. In doing so, I’ll usually reference where I acquired said shirt. Today is a little different. I’ll tell you about the site, but no specific T. This is because the site is brand-spanking NEW!
TeeInvaders is a site that just descended upon us yesterday, and is definitely one to watch. TeeInvaders will put up a new design every 24 hours, print it on a super-soft blank, and sell it to you for a great price of $9.
Their mission statement reads: TeeInvaders is a community of awesome artist and t-shirt lovers with one goal in mind, “To rule the universe”.
At least they set their goals high!
TeeInvaders is run and curated by Tom Vidal, an all-around great guy, and truly deserves this to be a raging success. If you’re into great designs and unique, one-of-a-kind shirts, check this site out often!
It’s been almost an entire month since I highlighted a SOTD, so I figured I’d drop this little gem on ya. At first glance you may be wondering “What the heck?!”
Yes, indeed. It’s a tiger getting punched in the face. A left hook, if I’m not mistaken.
WHY???
Well, first of all, there are many great factors about this design. I think the color combination of this shirt are fantastic. The orange and black on burgundy goes together extremely well. And the actual line work and water-color effect is superb, especially the way the water-color paint seems to be flying off the tiger face. And of course I really like weird, quirky, or unusual designs that make people scratch their heads. This is one of the latter.
The story behind this design is that the T shirt world had become completely overrun by shirts with Tiger faces on them.
Evidence as follows:
.
. See???
Aren’t you tired of them already? Just one tiger-face shirt after another.
But even without this backstory, the design stands on it’s own as a combination of great colors, excellent artwork, and a wonderful print job on the softest shirts anywhere.

Today’s shirt is a great design, with a great name. Tattie Bogle and The Corbies had me wondering what in the world those words were. I did a little digging, and they are Scottish expressions for scarecrows and crows/ravens.

The design definitely has a fall/Halloween feel to it. At first glance, it reminded me of the horror movie “Jeepers Creepers”. However, upon closer inspection, I’m not quite sure if the Tattie Bogle looks rather charming. The Corbies also are friendly in appearance.

Inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds”, the artist explains the design thusly: “This design is a little bit of All Hallows Eve and Swabian-Alemannic carnival. It is a wild flapping scarechoir, roused by a raggedy conductor.”
During this time of year, with ghosties, ghouls, and creepy-crawlies, the talk inevitably comes to Zombies. And when you talk Zombies, there’s never really just one or two- there’s gonna be a whole bunch when the Zombie Apocalypse happens.
And when the it does, I would think you’ll see warnings like this:
And to further prepare you, today’s Shirt of the Day is “In Case of Zombies“.
Not only is it a garment to keep you warm and make you stylish, it’s also very useful. It lists 9 suggestions to keep you among the living in case you come in contact with zombies. These are all nicely illustrated in the design, with accompanying numbers to correlate to each suggestion. Very handy.

My favorite is #5: “Show no mercy. She’s not your mother anymore.” Very funny. But true. It may look like dear ol’ mom, but she’ll eat yo brain if you give her a chance!
Part charming, and part macabre, Hello, My Darling is all awesome!
I love a shirt that tells a story, and this one definitely has something going on. We’re not sure if this um……couple, has been together while they were living, and now they’re just reunited. Or, possibly, the Zombie Ghoul was the cause of the woman’s current condition.
I love the bright blue of the gentleman, and the expression of his face and eye looks more forlorn and wistful than mean and menacing.
And then there’s the surprise on the back. BAM!
yeah, gotta love some headless corpse and zombie romance….
Continuing with my October / Fall theme of SOTD’s this month, I wanted to bring you a shirt.woot classic. Cool Breeze is one of the most sought-after shirts from woot.
Printed way back in September of 2007, it sold out in a staggering 18 minutes. It still holds the record for fastest sellout, as well as being one of the biggest sellers at shirt.woot.
The appeal is obvious, with the fall colors of brown, yellow, and orange. I also love the charming notion of a tree with musical notes as leaves, and the bar of “cool” music (must be jazz music) blowing the notes onto the ground.

I don’t have many brown shirts, but this one is just perfect for the fall season.
