well….sad to say, but I wish people would leave more comments regarding my posts. So I figure I’d post a picture and see if anyone would be willing to put their own caption to it. Go crazy.

OK, to come back from my posting hiatus, I figured I’d bring ya something really cool. Here’s a big freaking skull. What’s cooler than that? Right. Nuthin’.
Today’s Shirt of the Day is called Agent Skully. It’s another great design by Jimi Benedict, or jimiyo. Lots of people do skull shirts of differing varieties, but Jimi does this one unique, and 100% in yo face! This design completely covers the entire front of the shirt, and the expression on it suggests it’s screaming out in anguish. Or, quite possibly, maybe it’s screaming out for you to buy it. But if you wanna buy it, you’re out of luck.
I have the distinction of buying the last one from DBH. Jimi told me that they probably won’t reprint it either, so it’s probable that I have the very last one ever. Pretty neat.
Anyway, Jimi said that it’s a design that is very hard to register. What’s that mean? (Don’t feel silly, I asked too.) The response was: hrm… register… like… make sure the seams where the colors meet line up. big allover prints are tough to register.
So there ya go, now ya know.
The title gives me a chuckle, too, as it’s a play on the well known X-Files character. But you already knew that.

Check it.

Great stuff. Makes me think of my daughter.

I hold the belief that some of the best guitar work ever given to us is Randy Rhoad’s “Crazy Train”. Go here and listen to it. Don’t listen to the words, or the drums. Don’t listen to anything but the guitar. Especially the solo, and the lead-in to it. Screaming desperation from another world…
Brilliant.

Happy Birthday, America!!
The 4th of July signifies several great things, chief among them is that 55 men stood before fear and signed a document that released us from British oppression. I’m so glad they did. Imagine talking like that all the time? ‘ello, Guvna! Tea and crumpets, jolly good, pip-pip…
blech.
BUT, we as Americans have also sullied our country’s birthday by making it an occasion to mix alcohol and explosives – not a good combination. Anyway, just looking through today’s Incidents and Arrests in our local online paper. Some funny stuff happens when people “celebrate” a holiday. I just thought I’d share some entries with you. These are all from the last 24 hours. Some are interesting, some are weird, and some are just plain disturbing…
Suspicious sound of gunshot (REALLY?? Do ya think it could have been fireworks???)
Intoxication, person is falling over a bike
Harassment, persons are threatening to beat up a juvenile and burn person’s home down
Property damage wreck, person hit a deer
Information concerning phone calls person is getting
Person has been spraying weed killer in his yard and also left a message on the answering machine
Go-cart in alley way
Neighbor putting condoms on child’s bicycle
laundry room damaged and camera wires cut
Suspicious person banging on the front of the trailer
(and my personal favorite):
Animal problem involving a large red dog in the area getting into trash and bothering other dogs
(I wonder if his name was “Clifford“??)
Anyway, Happy 4th of July, everyone. Have fun, and celebrate responsibly.
Please don’t be this guy:
