Battle of Hiroshima – SOTD #23
Brent | August 23, 2009
I just counted.
I have 33 shirts hanging in my closet. Not that that’s all I have, but that is all that I want to take up closet space at any one time. And out of those 33 shirts, 25 are black, navy blue, or grey! Yeah, I like dark colors a lot.
Which is why today’s Shirt of the Day, Battle of Hiroshima, is a bit out of character for me.
Printed on a bright off-green, with bold colors, this is definitely not a conservative, understated “Artsy” shirt. But it’s FUN.
And what good is a T-shirt if it can’t be fun?
That, and robots will eventually take over the world and enslave us. So we’d better get used to seeing them around.
Just ask John Connor.
And here is the write-up from a review site:
By Fallen, “Battle of Hiroshima,” is a new take on the “clash of the Titans,” motif. Instead of our friendly neighborhood Godzilla, we’ve got a squid-looking-monster-thing battling it out with a robot. Looks like the robot has a dual-core processor. Best thank Intel for that.
But one wonders about setting. I know Tokyo would’ve been blase, but Hiroshima?
I ask you: Haven’t they had enough all ready? Now they gotta deal with all that rampaging mutant BS?
That’s a bit over-kill.
